Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Quilt And Croissants Guest House, I was pleasantly surprised by the balance between luxury and value. Located conveniently near the town centre, it offered easy access to eateries and local attractions. The room was spacious, featuring a large bed that provided a good night's sleep, and the en-suite bathroom was modern and clean, stocked with complimentary toiletries - a thoughtful touch. Richard and Sue, the hosts, were welcoming and accommodating, even relocating my room to the ground floor upon noticing my knee brace. Breakfast was a highlight; Freshly made to order with enough variety to cater to different tastes, including lovely homemade bread. While the decor was charmingly understated, the presence of a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi in public areas ensured I could stay connected.
